We supply our signature Value Boxes to clients FREE of charge on specified dates to students who use our storage service.
We can store many other items and the prices for those items are listed below. Our pricing structure is simple and most items fall into one of four pricing categories (see below).
It is very important to note that our minimum monthly order is 4 months or 1 semester! You can store for a shorter period of time but we do not prorate.
The total cost to store our Value Box for the whole summer is only $36! ($9.00/month)

While students traditionally use our Signature TCB Value Boxes to store their items, we are now offering students the option to store all or some of their items using our commercial grade and heavy-duty plastic storage bins *

Need a box or luggage shipped home? We have you covered. The College Butler partners with UPS to provide shipping services to customers who want some or all of their items shipped back home or to another location. Shipping prices are determined by UPS depending on the item size, weight and shipping location.

*Students who use our pickup or pack & store service and only need items shipped will be assessed the $25 per item handling fee (plus $3 per box provided). Those who are storing items with us in addition to needing shipping will only be charged the $15 per item handling fee.
*To qualify for the $15/item rate, at least 50% of the student's final bill must be derived from storage charges (for example, if a student has 10 items and the student decides to ship 9 of the items and only store 1, the student would not qualify for the $15/item rate).
Note that we typically do not provide additional services for shipping special items such as bicycles that are not already disassembled, or fragile antiques/expensive artwork that require special packaging or crating. Additional charges would apply for these types of items at a rate determined by a College Butler manager. Contact us for pricing on special items.
NEED TO EXTEND YOUR STORAGE BEYOND THE SUMMER?
*Typically, students who need to extend their storage beyond the summer are:
- Students who are studying abroad in the fall
- Students who are taking a leave of absence from the college or university
- Students who have graduated and have not secured living arrangements
STUDY ABROAD or EXTENDED STORAGE PRICING
(standard rates apply)
For Study Abroad or Extended Storage, students will be charged based on the number of months that extended storage is needed. To determine the final cost of extended storage, find the applicable monthly rate for each item stored and multiply that rate by the number of months of extended storage. A discount will be applied to the monthly storage rate depending on the amount of time that storage will be extended:
One Additional Semester
10% DISCOUNT*

Two Additional Semesters
15% DISCOUNT*
*Applies to additional semester monthly storage charges for the 2nd additional semester stored.
Three or More Additional Semesters
20% DISCOUNT*

For summer storage purposes a "semester" is defined as a period of 3-4 months, generally beginning in early May and extending to mid-late August. Storage picked up or delivered significantly earlier than May or significantly later than the end of August will be charged at the monthly rate for any additional months stored.
WE OFFER PACKING SERVICES FOR SELECT SCHOOLS
*Typically, students who utilize our packing services are:
- Students unable to be on campus to pack themselves
- Students who have had to leave campus due to an emergency
- Students who are too busy to pack on their own before leaving campus

*OFF-CAMPUS PACKING PRICES
Prices shown above are for students in on-campus residences only. Students who require a pack off-campus will be charged the off-campus packing rate, which is a $150 flat rate plus $25 per item packed (plus applicable storage charges and fees).
*OFF-SEASON PACKING PRICES
Prices above for packing may change during our non-peak times. For example, packing charges for any packing conducted during the months September through April will be assessed a minimum $225 total packing charge. Please call us for information on packing prices during the off-season.
WHAT IS A LIGHT CLEANING?
A light cleaning is defined as a quick sweep/vacuum and wipe-down of your room. We also dispose of light trash items. Rooms requiring a deeper clean will be referred to a cleaning company or assessed additional charges for time and materials.
