When you use THE COLLEGE BUTLER to pack, you’ll get professional packing experts to carefully pack your most precious belongings. Use our experienced team to pack and store or ship your items!
HOW IT WORKS
First you will provide all pertinent information when you sign up by completing our easy online application. We will work with your university or landlord to access your room and from there our trained and professional team will pack your belongings as requested. From there, we will take your belongings to our secure facility where they will be safely stored until you are ready to return to campus.
We are able to use FaceTime to connect with students to help differentiate items amongst roommates and also to clarify which specific items need to be shipped if shipping is involved. We provide this service at no additional charge to our pack & store customers.

THE COLLEGE BUTLER is deemed an essential business and our employees will be wearing masks, adhering to social distancing and following all other guidelines issued by the CDC.
SHIPPING AND JUNK REMOVAL
Need a box or luggage shipped home? We have you covered. The College Butler partners with UPS to provide shipping services to customers who want some or all of their items shipped back home or to another location. Shipping prices are determined by UPS depending on the item size, weight and shipping location.
Need to get rid of some stuff? We have you covered. The College Butler offers junk removal services. We can help you get rid of anything from clothes to couches to mini fridges.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
We like to be straightforward and transparent with our prices. The pricing listed below includes the charges for packing services which includes the cost of packing supplies such as boxes, wrap, labels and tape. The charges also include a light cleaning of your room before we depart.
The prices listed below do not include the charge for storage, which is billed on a per item per semester or monthly basis. These prices can be found on our college pricing page.
Any items that cannot fit in boxes such as furniture, bins, lamps, fridges, etc. will not be included as items for packing services and will only incur standard storage charges.

A light cleaning is defined as a quick sweep/vacuum and wipe-down of your room. We also dispose of light trash items. Rooms requiring a deeper clean will be referred to a cleaning company or assessed additional charges for time and materials.

SHIPPING COSTS
The College Butler partners with UPS to provide shipping services for students. The College Butler passes on the exact UPS shipping charge to customers and also assesses a very small per-item "handling fee" for collecting the items, transporting the items to a local UPS store and arranging the shipment through UPS.
Students who store other items with us:
$10 per item handling fee plus Standard UPS Shipping Charges
*Students who use us for shipping only:
$20 per item/box handling fee plus Standard UPS Shipping Charges
plus $3 per box (includes boxes, tape and bubble wrap if necessary)
*Students who use our pack & store service and only need items shipped will be assessed the $20 per item handling fee. Those who are storing items with us in addition to needing shipping will only be charged the $10 per item handling fee. Those using us for shipping only are also assessed an additional charge of $3 per box for packing supplies (covers boxes, tape and bubble wrap if necessary.
Note that we typically do not provide additional services for shipping special items such as bicycles that are not already disassembled, or fragile antiques/expensive artwork that require special packaging or crating. Additional charges would apply for these types of items at a rate determined by a College Butler manager. Contact us for pricing on special items.
